On December 25, a delegation from Hunan Kexintai Electronics, led by Chairwoman Liu Shengnan, visited Changsha Social Work College (CSSW) for exchanges. President Chen Jingbin and Vice President Wang Qingguo received the delegation and accompanied them on a campus tour.

President Chen Jingbin extended a warm welcome to the delegation. She emphasized that the college remains committed to an open education strategy prioritizing both “bringing in” and “going global.” By aligning with the international expansion of enterprises like Kexintai Electronics, CSSW seeks to support Hunan enterprises in their global outreach and jointly cultivate high-caliber local talent with Chinese language proficiency, strong technical expertise, and cross-cultural competence.

Vice President Wang Qingguo provided a detailed overview of the College’s recent practices and achievements in international education and industry-academia collaboration. He highlighted focused efforts to align with global standards and cultivate highly skilled talent with a global vision and cross-cultural communication abilities.

Hunan Kexintai Electronics shared the experiences of its overseas operations, particularly in Indonesia, and the challenges posed by a shortage of local skilled talent. The company highly commended CSSW’s expertise in international student cultivation, curriculum development, and school-enterprise cooperation, and expressed a keen interest in establishing a partnership.

During the talks, both sides discussed the specifics of the first cohort of international students undertaking internships at Kexintai. They proposed a “Chinese + Vocational Skills” model to develop versatile local talent within a collaborative framework. The delegation also toured the Industry-Education Integration Building and facilities like the Kingdee Software base to have a better understanding of the college’s training facilities and ongoing collaboration projects.

This visit has laid a solid foundation for substantive cooperation, marking a significant step forward in the college’s efforts to integrate international industry and education while supporting enterprises in their going global effort. It further strengthens the comprehensive “enrollment-cultivation-internship-employment” pipeline for international students, translating the commitment to supporting corporate overseas expansion into concrete action.

The meeting was attended by heads of the School of Software, the School of Electronic Information Engineering, the School of International Education, the Department of Industry-Academia Cooperation, and the Higher Vocational Education Research Center.
